Beautiful creation

Beautiful Savior,

King of Creation,

Son of God and Son of Man!

Truly I love Thee,

Truly I serve Thee,

Light of my soul, my Joy, my Crown.

Fair are the meadows,

Fair are the woodlands,

Robed in flowers of blooming spring;

Jesus is fairer,

Jesus is purer;

He makes our sorrowing spirit sing.

Fair is the sunshine,

Fair is the moonlight,

Bright the sparkling stars on high;

Jesus shines brighter,

Jesus shines purer,

Than all the angels in the sky.

Beautiful Savior,

Lord of the nations,

Son of God and Son of Man!

Glory and honor,

Praise, adoration,

Now and forevermore be Thine!!!

My little plot of land

This is my little corner by the sidewalk that Amanda has helped me turn into a veggie/flower garden. Since all the rain recently my melons look a little beaten down, but everything else is doing fine. The lettuce and violas are doing amazing. I'm so excited I actually got a couple of blooms on my violas. I have blooms on my peas, maybe I'll have some fresh ones soon!
I enjoy working out in the garden. I really like pulling weeds. Especially going down deep and pulling dandelion roots out.

I think that violas are one of my favorite flowers. They look so happy.

Our day in the park

We took Monday off from work and drove to Stony Brook State Park and spent the afternoon. We started the outing with a picnic, and then we walked the park, of course!

There were beautiful wild roses growing along the waters edge, in the midst of the greens and greys they really stood out.

Tom and Deb on the first bridge.

Then it was our turn on the bridge.

I really enjoyed trying out the different settings on our camera. The sport setting really caught the waterfalls and cascades.

I love the light on the water.

Hubby and me.

The boys.

Smile everyone!

So pretty.

The little waterfalls were nice too. =)

It's been three years!

Somebody sent me flowers! They are BEAUTIFUL!!!! They smell wonderful too. Yesterday marked three years since Nick and I were married in little Hallsport, NY. Amazing. It feels like yesterday...

I won't say that the last three years have been easy or carefree, but no matter what has happened Nick has stood by me, and in very sad moments he has been my complete support. I feel very blessed to have lived these last three years with him...
